At Death's Door?

I put on the 70's/80's music channels for a bit of music nostalgia to cheer me up.
But every 10-15 minutes there are advert breaks full of funeral and cremation plans and money when you're dead schemes.
Do they assume anyone who listens to old music is just contemplating their impending death?
