Moloko - Pure Pleasure Seeker (CD Single)
A personal view of this song.
This always reminds me of a guy I used to work with, he lent me his CD of Moloko's "Things to make and do" album just after he bought it, and this track stood out, also it sort of summed him up as he was one of those people who would do anything for a buzz. Single, living off his parents so a bit too much spare money.
A new car every few months including a Ferrari, bought a superbike so he could go racing at the Nurburgring in Germany, came back and promptly got banned for doing 140mph in a 30mph zone!!
Got his licence back after a year, bought a Jag and after hitting another car sideswiped a tree, spent several months in a coma and although surviving and leaving hospital eventually he'll never be able to do anything without help again due to the brain damage suffered.
Still a great track despite my own sad view of it.
