Jeff Wayne - ULLAdubULLA (The Remix Album)

The full title of this is Jeff Wayne's musical version of the war of the worlds ULLAdubULLA the remix album.
Some excellent remixes of the all time classic album by Jeff Wayne, Remixer's include Apollo 440, Dario G, Todd Terry, DJ Sakin amongst others.
My only complaint would be the layout of the tracks which doesn't follow the original version, but I'm glad I bought it.
I think some of these were included in the 7 cd box version that was released a couple of years back, which still retails at over £40 but still tempts me every time I see it.

Various Artists - Ska Wars (4CD)

Ska Wars is a 4 CD box set of some well known ska tracks, as with most bargain compilations the tracks by the better known artists tend to be live versions or alternate later recordings which isn't always a bad thing as anyone who followed the scene already has the original versions.
A nice selection of tracks by artists like Bad Manners, The Selecter, The (International) Beat, Loafers, Volcanoes, Potato 5 and many others, also included are 3 classic comedy oldies by Judge Dread which are always welcomed by me as he got me into Reggae/Ska when I was a kid.
4cd's worth of happy tunes which should be prescribed to anyone feeling down or depressed as these will cheer them up, works for me :)

3 Mantra For The Lost
4 Mulder And Scully (The Ex Files)

Link - Mulder & Scully

Space And Cerys Matthews - The Ballad Of Tom Jones

Here's the duet between Space and Catatonia's Cerys Matthews, who was recently seen for the first time in ages on "I'm a celebrity" and she looks better now than she did at the time of this song.
I'm not sure if I heard she worked in a bar before getting fame, but I always viewed her as the singing barmaid for some reason.

1 The Ballad Of Tom Jones
2 Happy Endings
3 Now She's Gone
4 Stress Transmissions

Link - Tom Jones

Space - Avenging Angels

Doesn't seem like ten years ago Space were having their moments of fame, hits like "Neighbourhood" and "Female of the Species" seem more recent than that?
Here's another of their hits "Avenging angels" this is the CD single rip and the other tracks are pretty good as well.

1 Avenging Angels
2 I Am Unlike A Lifeform You've Ever Met

Sugarcubes - Here Today Tomorrow Next Week

Since first hearing "Hit" and seeing the Sugarcubes on Top of the Pops I've loved nearly everything that Bjork's done, although her lyrics are sometime a bit suspect I love the way she uses her voice to replace instrumental parts (if that makes sense :)).
Here's a couple of Sugarcubes albums, this one doesn't really have any stand out tracks, but then I haven't listened to it enough to really say for sure.

Manic Street Preachers - If You Tolerate This

These aren't numbered but I'll assume this is CD1?
