Back in about 76/77 I was just getting into a wider range of music (as in non chart music) from the blossoming punk scene to the album bands (prog/soft rock etc) and certain stuff took my fancy, this album was one I really liked at the time and most will know the track (Don't Fear) The Reaper.
I think many of the tracks here are really good although I stopped liking the band after seeing them live in the late 70's, the performance was good but I suppose it was just the look of the band? too much hair or some other shallow reason :)
Not sure if track 4 is spelt wrong on purpose but this is what's on the sleeve.
